Who builds your dream home is up to you.  Choose from three of our building programs. In any case, the Strongwood construction and design staffs partnership with Old Dominion Log Homes, LLC and are committed to help you throughout the construction of your log package!  

  • An Owner-Builder Program is for those who want to build their own home or wish to have their preferred contractor build it. We provide the planning services, blueprints, construction manual, log package, and 1 to 3 days of onsite log stacking assistance as part of that program. This is a popular program because it taps into your strengths and affiliations with assistants.  It allows you to capitalize on “sweat equity”.
  • The Owner-Partner Program is for owners who wish to participate in the construction of their new home. A Strongwood authorized dealer or builder, or your preferred local contractor, may be the general contractor for your new home assuring you that your home will be completed on time, within your budget, and perfectly match your dreams.

  • You may prefer a Turnkey-Owner Program in which every detail from blueprints to finished home are carefully managed by a competent local builder in your area. We have a local builder who will contract with you for the completion of your Strongwood Log Home exactly as you want it.  A truly custom home built just for you!
